-
Here’s how we treat :
-
Assessment:
-
Our chiropractor will first talk with you about your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. They may also do physical exams (checking posture, flexibility, and muscle strength)
-

-
Diagnosis:
Based on the assessment, we identify where your body may be misaligned, tight, or inflamed, particularly in the spine and joints. -

-
Manual Adjustment (Spinal Manipulation):
Our chiropractor uses their hands (or sometimes small instruments) to apply a controlled, sudden force to a joint. -
The use of an activator can be used - It delivers a quick, low-force impulse to the spine or joints. This can be much gentler than a manual adjustment — ideal for people who are sensitive, elderly, very young, or in a lot of pain
-
Thee goal is to-
-
Improve spinal motion
-
Correct misalignments ("subluxations")
-
Reduce nerve irritation
-
Help your body heal itself naturally
-

-
Other Techniques: Besides adjustments, our chiropractor might also:
-
Stretch or massage soft tissues
-
Recommend exercises, stretches
-
Give advice on ergonomics, posture, diet, or stress management
-
Drop piece table technique – the use of a specially designed table to help mobilize a joint in a controlled way
-
-
Follow-Up:
Treatment can sometimes be ongoing. Many people need a few sessions over weeks or months depending on how their body responds and the severity of their condition. -

-
We can do treatment of other joints, including feet, ankles, shoulders, wrists, elbows.
DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling can be a very effective complement to a chiropractic treatment because it targets muscle tension, trigger points, and inflammation, which are often involved in the pain and dysfunction chiropractors treat.

What Happens During Dry Needling?
-
Our Chiropractor finds a tight knot or trigger point in a muscle.
-
They insert the needle directly into that area.
-
The muscle may twitch — this is a good sign that the muscle is reacting and releasing.
-
No medication is injected — the needle alone triggers the body’s healing response (that’s why it’s called “dry” needling).

1. Relieves Muscle Tension
-
Chiropractors adjust joints, but if the surrounding muscles are tight or knotted (trigger points), they can pull the joints out of alignment again.
-
Dry needling releases these tight muscle bands, helping the joints stay in better alignment after an adjustment.
2. Reduces Pain and Inflammation
-
The needle stimulates the body’s natural healing response, increasing blood flow and releasing chemicals like endorphins that reduce pain.
-
This can speed up recovery from musculoskeletal injuries chiropractors are treating.
3. Improves Range of Motion
-
Tight muscles can limit movement. By relaxing these muscles, dry needling restores flexibility and mobility.
-
This makes chiropractic adjustments easier and more effective because the body moves more naturally.
4. Addresses Both Joint and Soft Tissue Problems
-
Chiropractic care mainly targets bones and joints.
-
Dry needling addresses muscles, fascia, and soft tissues.
-
Together, they offer a more complete treatment for issues like neck pain, back pain, headaches, sports injuries, and even nerve impingements.
